Jordan Friesen
Lead Pastor / Elder

Jordan and his family have lived in El Dorado for four years. Prior to moving to El Dorado, he attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he received his Masters in Divinity. In 2023 the Lord opened a door to plant a church in El Dorado. Jordan is one of the founding pastors of VCC and he is currently part of the Immanuel Network, which is a network of likeminded pastors, church planters, and missionaries all over the globe, based in Louisville. Jordan has a deep, abiding passion to preach the whole counsel of God, to equip the saints for ministry, and to see the city of El Dorado and beyond transformed by the Gospel. While not laboring in Gospel ministry, Jordan absolutely loves spending time with his family. His wife Mary and three children are the joy of his life. Jordan serves as the lead pastor of Vine Community Church.

Matt Click
Discipleship Pastor / Elder

Matt and his family have always known a life of Gospel ministry. Matt graduated with his Masters degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and then he and wife Jamey spent many years serving as missionaries in Asia. While overseas Matt and  Jamey adopted two boys from Africa. Later the Lord called Matt and his family back to America. Since then, Matt has pastored churches in Oklahoma and Kansas. In 2023 Matt and Jordan, with their likeminded hearts for gospel ministry, partnered together to plant a church. As one of the founding pastors of VCC, Matt has a passion for Christ that is contagious. His joy is ever present and it is unlikely you will ever walk away from a conversation with him without first hearing a pun. Matt serves as the discipleship pastor of Vine Community Church.

Randy Kelley
Pastor / Elder

Randy and Kathy are the parents of 6 sons and have eight grandchildren.  They lived in Greensburg, KS, where Randy was Postmaster and Kathy was a bank teller.  Upon retirement they moved back to the El Dorado area to be closer to family.  They have always been active church members, and are charter members of Vine Community Church. The Kelleys love the Lord deeply, have a heart for hospitality, and a deep compassion for couples in marital distress.  Randy serves as an elder of Vine Community Church.

Wayne Taylor
Pastor / Elder

Wayne has lived in El Dorado all his life. He has been married to his wife Kay for 49 years and raised 5 children together who blessed them with 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Wayne has worked in the oil field since he was 20 years old. He bought his father-in-law’s chemical company along the way and has delivered chemical most of his life. Wayne enjoys hunting, scuba diving, and remodeling houses (they’ve lived in the same home for 41 years so there has been much remodeling). Wayne would characterize his spiritual life as a “slow climb," sometimes he feels like Jonah, running from God, or Job, a suffering servant. Sometimes like Noah, questioning, but still following directions, or like Moses, dragging people to the promise land. Most of the time however, he feels like Paul, the chief among sinners, but trying to finish the race and win the prize. Wayne serves as an elder of Vine Community Church.

Chris Means
Pastor / Elder

Chris and his wife Tina were born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and shortly after they were married (now going on 27 years) they moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma for four years for Chris to attend Optometry School. They moved back to Wichita to start his practice and a family as well. Then they moved from the city life to the farm life to raise their six children near the Towanda area loving the many outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. At his practice, his staff affectionately call him 'Farmer Means'. He also enjoys building pretty much anything, woodworking, and tinkering as an amateur shade-tree mechanic. They are charter members of Vine Community Church. Besides eye care and country living, Chris enjoys studying theology, teaching God's Word, and shepherding God's people. Chris serves as an elder of Vine Community Church.
