Missions Weekend

Join us for Missions Weekend, March 21-22. 

Kris Castro, one of the elders at Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, will be moving, Lord willing, to Tokyo, Japan within the next 18 months to help plant an indigenous church in the world’s largest city. The elders have invited Kris to come to VCC for the weekend to share about his future work in “the land of the rising sun.”

Here is the tentative schedule for Missions Weekend: 

Saturday, March 21

7:30am—Kris will speak at our monthly men's breakfast. 
6:30pm—Missions Night: Kris will introduce the work in Japan (more details forthcoming). 

Sunday, March 22

9am—Kris will join us in the prayer room and help lead us to pray for the Tokyo endeavor. 
10am—Kris will be our guest preacher for the morning worship service. 
11:30am—We will have a potluck after the service, which will be an opportunity for you to meet and get to know Kris.
